Ampelidae is situated at the crossroads of several villages Marigny-Brizay, Beaumont and Colombiers. The property was built on a hill, witness of the superior Cretaceous. At 153 meters above the sea level, this geological crossroads overlooks the southern part of the Vienne valley.

Any visitor would be surprised by the all-round view and would be overcome by the place’ s serenity and calmness.

The main cellar was built under the Manor of Lavauguyot along the D82 where you can visit us anytime. The other part is based next to the Manor of the Mailleterie along the D21.

The geological ground structure justify the growing of numerous varieties (“geological map picture”) in the Cretaceous, around 40 millions years ago,
while water was recovering the Paris basin ( north ) and the Aquitan basin (south).
